Today is 4th August 2020 and Redmi has launched its new Redmi 9 Pro in India which they are claiming a predecessor to its younger brother Redmi 9.

So, as you can see from the tables given above, there are two differences between these two devices. The first one is of storage and the second is price.
However, some camera specs, dimensions are different. Otherwise, both these phones are built using the same equipment and strategies.
Is Redmi 9 Prime over-priced?
The early access sales of Redmi 9 Prime have been started. But, if we look at the prices range, the 4GB+128GB variant is definitely priced more.
In simple terms, they are charging INR 2000 or USD 27 more for just adding 64 GB more storage. So, it could be a big thing to consider when you want to buy Redmi 9 Prime instead of Redmi 9.
These both are great low-range smartphones. But, Redmi has has think about its price structure again.

In my opinion, Redmi 9 Prime 4GB+64GB is a better deal if you do not need more storage space in your mobile.
However, if you need more storage, the upper version will be good but it is priced more. So, consider these things in mind before making a decision.
If we talk about the features, both the smartphones have similar specifications, the only difference is of storage. So, you shouldn’t be worried about anything when making a selection between both.
